For Mandela Day 2022 the Balwin Foundation donated blankets to Umhlanga Women’s Association, prepared meals at Umhlanga Spar and donated solar panels to Ballito informal settlement residents with LUAH.
We donated over 300 blankets through our Balwin Blanket Drive.
5th year at Ithemba Soup Kitchen we donated R10,000 voucher to help for the whole year and R5,000 for food hampers to give to needy families. Plus lots of soup goodies.
Donated R5000 towards brooms, rakes, bags, etc. to help clean up at the Klipfontein View Park and had some of our horticulture/enviro learners to be a part of this initiative.
