Zaarah could be South Africa's next Natalie du Toit, watch this space! Zaarah is one of the talented young swimmers supported by the Balwin Water Safety and Swimming Programme sponsorship through Foxxy Swimming School in Kraaifontein, Western Cape.
In 2020, Zaarah was diagnosed with bone cancer and had one of her legs amputated above the knee. Now that she beat cancer, Zaarah is well on her way to becoming a force in the swimming pool. The Balwin Foundation will support and cheer her on along her journey to Paralympic Gold!
