During the Balwin Foundation and Balwin Fibre office move, we discovered stacks of unused, broken banners which we donated to Shwe, an online store that partners with local women to create and sell beautiful items made from recycled products. For the Balwin re-purpose initiative, Shwe will be working with EcoSmart, a group of talented women from Diepsloot and surrounds, who re-cover, re-purpose, re-design and re-create waste products into beautiful, useful bags. We plan to support their craft by re-purchasing their amazing creations. Watch this space!
