This year Balwin Foundation as their Mandela Day initiative collected and delivered 67 blankets to the Masikhule Organisation. Masikhule distributed the blankets to many of the ECD centres they work with in the under-resourced communities in the Helderberg.

The Masikhule Organsiation is an NPO that trains women in marginalised communities to be Early Childhood Development (ECD) practitioners. By responding to the needs of Early Childhood Development (ECD) within marginalised communities, Masikhule supports and develops ECD educators and children to achieve their full potential, and thus also the sustainable wellbeing of the community.
